Giveaways to Noosa Hill Climb anniversary event

The Noosa Winter Hill Climb Motorsport celebrates its 25th anniversary next month and is giving away six weekend passes, valued at $25 each, to Noosa Today readers.

“The Noosa Hill Climb event is a testimony to 25 years of blood, sweat and tears from hundreds of club members and volunteers,“ Noosa Beach Classic Car Club president Mike Rider said.

“They have created and maintained a unique motorsport event that continues to offer a challenging experience for all the contemporary and Classic cars and drivers that flock to take up the challenge. It remains a thriving and thrilling competition for those who dare.“

Long term club member, Daryl Shaw said, “As one of the founding members of the club and a motorsport man, I have raced my Jaguar up the Hill many times and am proud to still be involved in the 25th anniversary year of this celebrated Hill Climb. Long may it continue!“

“2022 is an iconic year for the Noosa Hill Climb celebrating its 25th anniversary,“ Hill Climb directors Jonathan Carroll and Scott Bingham said.

As part of this celebration for the first time in its history a two round point scoring championship will take place, with the Winter Round 1 occurring from 3-5 June and the Summer Round 2 being held from 21-23 October.

The event is pleased to welcome back Reed & Co Estate Agents as major sponsor for the Winter Round 1 and a key sponsor for the Summer Round 2.

Reed & Co Estate Agents continue their valued support for 2022 in sponsoring both events to support the championship series.

Their critical partnership makes the Noosa Hill Climb a valuable event for passionate car enthusiasts and the community.

Entries opened on 1 March and the response has been exceptional with the June Winter Round 1 Event 90 per cent full and the October Summer Round 2 Event 60 per cent full.

If you are a motorsport competitor and thinking of entering, don’t miss out on driving this challenging and exciting piece of tarmac.

And there is plenty of action for spectators with continuous racing on both Saturday and Sunday from about 8.30am to 3.30pm with grandstands located trackside.

The Noosa Winter Hill Climb is on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June on Gyndier Drive, Tewantin.

Adult Weekend Passes $25 and kids Under 14 are free. Gates open at 8am.

Tickets are available online at noosahillclimb.com.au or at the Hill Climb Venue Gate 2.
