A 47-year-old police officer will face Noosa Magistrates Court after being charged with drink driving.
The male senior constable from the north coast region has been charged with driving whilst under the influence of liquor (in charge), allegedly committed while off duty.
The member has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service (QPS) and is expected to appear in the Noosa Magistrates Court on 9 September 2025.
QPS stated, “In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the Service faces serious allegations of misconduct.”
