The best spirits across Australia and New Zealand have been tasted and judged at the inaugural 2019 Royal Australian Spirit Awards, with ‘Fortune’ Noosa Heads Distillery winning three medals for their Signature Dry Gin, Peter Phillips Navy Strength Gin and the soon to be released White Cane un-aged Agricole Rum.
Since their opening just four months ago in March, Noosa’s first Distillery has quickly begun building a name for themselves within the craft distillation industry and are celebrating their first major wins as a sign of what’s to come.
“We’re really excited to have won three medals for our spirits within the first few months of opening,” Head Distiller Jackson Boyd said.
“The public’s reaction has been really positive but it’s also great to have industry recognition.
“Results like these and the quality of our products are a clear sign that we’re heading in the right direction, so we’re very excited for what the future holds.”
