Katie Rose Cottage’s beauty, tranquillity, and the care it provides is a testament to the hard work of its many supporters and staff.
From those who founded the hospice, to the volunteers who help sustain its operations, to the quiet, selfless dedication of those who provide care, Katie Rose Cottage continues to be driven by the community, for the community.
I congratulate everyone involved with Katie Rose Cottage.
Llew O’Brien, Federal Member for Wide Bay and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Katie Rose Hospice holds a special place in the hearts of all Noosans and is proudly celebrating its fifth anniversary! This work is achieved through an army of over 280 incredible volunteers who do everything, from guest care to garden maintenance, not to mention running the op shops that provide much needed revenue. Recently, the hospice has received further funding from the State Government through various grants.
Katie Rose is essential to our community, providing loving care when residents need it the most. It is my absolute pleasure to offer my heartfelt congratulations to all the staff and volunteers involved in
achieving this milestone!
Sandy Bolton, State Member for Noosa
Our region is so fortunate to have an organisation like Katie Rose and the remarkable work it does for our community.
It continues to provide exceptional end of life care and comfort for those we love dearly.
In five short years and throughout the Covid pandemic, the staff have created a space that is dignified, safe and compassionate to the needs of their clients.
It plays an integral role in our community’s health care system.
You truly provide something special to our shire and the 280 volunteers are our heroes.
As a community hospice and charity, it relies on the continued and generous support of our community. Council is so proud to provide assistance where it can to ensure Katie Rose remains a key part of our shire.
I can’t begin to express the gratitude we have for what you have done and continue to do. It is certainly appreciated by all our residents.
Clare Stewart, Mayor, Noosa Council
