It was amped at Thomas Surfboards on Saturday night with young and old surfers celebrating 50 years of the Noosa Boardriders Club.
Club president Paul Peterson said the anniversary event doubled as a fundraiser to keep the club of 140 juniors and 80 adults cruising along smoothly.
The fun of the surf teamed with passionate kids and passionate dads have been the secret behind its five decade longevity, he said.
