THE ’60s and ’70s have long since passed but the Tewantin Noosa RSL is set to revive the era of love this weekend with two groovy performances straight out of the past.
Local rockers Late For Woodstock hit the stage first with their much-loved repertoire of classic rock tunes from the greats such as The Stones, The Doors, Zeppelin, The Beatles and many more.
These never-say-die rockers embrace every song as if it were their own and after 18 years of performing the boys still love playing these classics with child-like enthusiasm.
It’s the music, they say, that keeps them going and they’re not alone, the ’60s are given a groovy revival when The ’60s Guy takes over the stage with Kerry James and The ’60s Revolution.
Robbie McGowan is That ’60s Guy and specialises in the songs of yester-year which are guaranteed to have you moving and grooving in no time.
Kerry James shares Robbie’s passion for the ’60s, her passion and vocal prowess are breath-taking and set to leave audiences in awe.
This is a show that will leave you smiling, singing and most definitely having a good time.
Get down to the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Friday 5 February from 8pm to catch Late for Woodstock, and Saturday 6 February from 8pm to see That ’60s Guy accompanied by Kerry James and The ’60s Revolution.
