Array of tea treats

Home-made treats helped to raise over $800 for Ovarian Cancer.

IT’S not often you are served scrumptious home-baked treats while booking your next holiday, but at Helloworld Noosa Heads that’s exactly what happened last week when the team held an Afternoon Teal fund-raiser.
The fund-raising initiative raises money and awareness of Ovarian Cancer through a shared afternoon tea. The team at Helloworld hand-made an array of treats and over 50 lucky people gobbled them up throughout the afternoon.
Helloworld owner Clare O’Keeffe said the cause was important to members of her team.
“The event was to raise awareness of the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer which is a silent killer in Australia and has touched family members of our office personally,” Clare said.
Helloworld raised over $800 for Ovarian cancer Queensland throughout the afternoon.
