Jumping into jazz

JAZZ fans rejoice, the 2015 Noosa Jazz Festival kicks off on Thursday 3 September with an impressive list of top-quality performers.
The Jazz Festival will be held until Sunday 6 September at the Festival Village, Noosa Lions Park, Noosa Heads, where event goers can enjoy a jam-packed line-up with some of the greatest names in jazz from Wendy Matthews to Emma Pask, Darren Percival to the Lachy Doley Group, as well as Clayton Doley and Colleen Hewett.
The festival village, the home and heart of the Noosa Jazz Festival, will offer multiple stages with more than 45 performances as well as workshops, master classes, jazz river cruises, the legends lunch series, big bands, swing bands, soul bands, jazz bands and Australian Jazz royalty.
Highlighting Noosa Jazz Festival’s commitment to investing in the youth and industry development, jazz bands from Sunshine Coast Grammar School and St Andrew’s Anglican College will gain unforgettable experience through the Youth in Jazz program.
