TINKERBELL, Willy Wonka and even Darren Lockyer made an appearance at the 70th annual Book Fest celebrations held throughout Noosa last week.
The Children’s Book Council Australia (CBCA) annual celebration of all things books, authors and illustrators was greeted with enthusiasm this year as students and teachers throughout Noosa got in the spirit for Book Week’s celebrations from 22 to 28 August.
Among other activities throughout the week, students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite character with this year’s theme, books light up our world.
