Noosa Nippers win gold

By Hollie Harris

A TEAM of 29 Noosa Nippers and parents travelled to the Gold Coast on Sunday to compete in Round 1 of the Fastest Man on the Sand series.
It was a beautiful day at Kurrawa Beach and the team had a great day.
There were plenty of smiles and some great results. Well done to the following medal winners including Amy Kibble 1st – Under 13 Flags; Kai Thompson 2nd – Under 14 Beach Sprint; James Gelling 2nd – Under 12 Flags; Letitia Fox 3rd – Under 13 Beach Sprint; Under 14 Girls team – 1st Beach Relay, and undefeated for the third consecutive year, a huge congratulations to the Under 13 Girls Beach Relay team.
All the hard work at training paid off and there was such strong camaraderie amongst the team.
Everyone is looking forward to Round 2 at Mooloolaba in a few weeks’ time.
