The annual Noosa Nipper Duck Race fund-raiser was a huge success, with many ducks heading out on the water last Friday night, a beautiful Noosa sunset behind them. Congratulations to the winning duck #31, who took an early lead and sprinted home to finish first. In conjunction with the Duck race, Noosa Nippers celebrated their 50-year anniversary. It was a delight to have many past Nipper committee members and coaches sharing in the celebration which included the unveiling of the newly refurbished honour board. To have them present alongside current Nipper members was paramount, because without the support of these dedicated founding volunteers, Noosa Nippers would not be what it is today.
