LIBRARY NEWS
Friends of Noosaville Library will hold a morning tea at Noosa Library, Wallace Drive, Noosaville, TODAY, Thursday, April 3, at 10am. Come along and join other library lovers over tea and cake.  There will be a book sale at Noosaville Library on Saturday, April 5, 9.30am to noon. Come and bag a bargain.

DEEPER HUMANNESS

FRIDAY FORUM
Noosa River meanders through the heart of our community but what lives beneath its surface? Local marine biologist Josh Jensen will answer that at Noosa Parks Association’s Friday Environment Forum tomorrow. Josh launched the Noosa Underwater Biodiversity Project (NUBA) to film and record every creature that inhabits the river and has so far recorded 117 species. On April 4, Josh will share the results of his work to date and discuss his future vision to make Noosa River “the best studied, understood and protected river in the world”. WOMEN’S AUXILIARY

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

DANCE CLASSES
Sunday dance classes at Masonic Hall, Tewantin. Beginners at 1pm. If you’ve never danced before, that’s the time to join experienced teacher Andrew. Tea at 3pm, followed by more exciting dances, finishing at 5pm. Great for fitness and socialization. $8 for fun, food and dancing.

BUSHLAND CARE
Seaview Creek Sunshine Beach Bushcare Group will be weeding at the Doggy Beach on the Noosa Spit on Thursday, April 10, 7.30am to 10am. Meet at the last carpark before the river. All welcome. RAAF TEWANTIN
The RAAF Association Tewantin Noosa’s monthly meeting will be at the RSL on Sunday, April 13, 10am. Allied Air Force Members and wives or widows of ex-servicemen are eligible for full membership, no service experience necessary. Phone 5448 1457.

GARDEN CLUB
Tewantin Noosa Garden Club will meet on April 14 at the Catholic Church Annex, Moorindal St, Tewantin, at 1pm, with speaker Nick Hansa from Fairhill Nursery, who will discuss native plants for the garden. All welcome.

CAG EASTER
Coolum Art Group is once again holding its popular Easter Art Show, with hundreds of paintings by 20 different artists, and lots of good quality home-made crafts.  Painting demonstrations all weekend.  Coolum Civic Centre, Park St, Coolum, April 18, 19 & 20, 9am till 5pm daily. Meet the artists at 4.30pm on Saturday, April 19. Entry free.

LIONS CLUB

PEREGIAN KNIT & CROCHET
Do you like to knit or crochet but have no one to make items for anymore? Enjoy a morning of laughter and chatting as you knit or crochet in the company of some fabulous ladies. Easy beginners designs as well as some for the more experienced, and help is given. We meet first and third Tuesdays, 9.30-11.30am, in Heron Street, Peregian Beach. SUNSHINE BUTTERFLIES
Music, art & woodwork programs are available for people with a disability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Sunshine Butterflies Warehouse, 9.30am to 2.30pm. Phone 5470 2830.
