Dan’s Hot Five joy

DAN Quigley’s Hot Five plus one are back by popular demand.
A big hit the last time this group appeared at the Jazz Club, you can expect to experience the same contagious joy and sounds of the 20s and 30s.
It was a time when popular music was born and infectiously swinging, when it didn’t matter how down you were, the music would always bring you back to life.
Dan’s Hot Five bring you the sweet street sounds of New Orleans.
Get in early to also enjoy a special performance by the St Teresa’s Catholic College at 7pm.
This band is made up of present and former students and teachers of the Jazz Music Institute in Brisbane, an accredited college made up of inspiring and highly professional jazz musicians. The teachers come with a vast array of industry experience and expertise specific to the jazz performance arena to share with their students.
Catch jazz fever on Saturday 14 May from 7pm at The J, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads. $20 for members and $25 for guests, tickets are available by calling 5447 2229.
