2. Alliance Française de la Sunshine Coast celebrates 11 years of French Film Festivals. The opening night event on 4 May is canapés and drinks at Black Pepper, Sunshine Beach Rd followed by a screening of C’est la Vie at Noosa 5 Cinemas. Or on 5 May “See You Up There” screens at Noosa 5 Cinemas, followed by dinner at Padstows Restaurant in Sunshine Beach Rd. Tickets via www.afsunshinecoast.org.au

3. The Rotary Club of Cooroy Charity Dragon Boat Festival will be held on Lake Macdonald in the Noosa hinterland this Sunday 6 May. Dragon boating is for everyone and anyone of any age, shape or size. It is a dynamic and exciting sport and this will be a day of fun, team building and an opportunity to try something new while raising money for good causes.
