Top ‘I do’ Noosa venues

THE Australian Bridal Industry Academy award winners have been announced with a host of Noosa venues taking top honours in the state-wide competition.
Held on Tuesday 26 July, the ABIA awards are a highly sought-after commendation for wedding venues with the organisation the go-to place for brides-to-be and wedding planners.
To determine the winner, the ABIA system is based on bridal feedback where brides are asked to rate their wedding suppliers on the criteria of quality of product, service, value for money and the attitude of staff.
The ABIA then uses a mathematical equation to determine the winner and finalists of each wedding category.
This year saw a range of local venues highly commended including the Riverdeck Restaurant at Noosa Marina, who came second in the state for the best restaurant reception venue with a score of 99.91 per cent followed by the Noosa Boathouse with 98.85 per cent.
The Riverdeck Restaurant also scored 97.95 per cent for their function co-ordinator.
Other finalists included Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort who scored an impressive 96.18 per cent for the best ceremony venue in the state.
The Sunshine Beach Surf Club scored 96.08 per cent as a finalist in the club reception category, while Noosa VIP Limousines scored 96.29 per cent in the best transport category.
