The music will never leave you

IF any band deserves a tribute act to celebrate their success it is The Eagles.
The band enjoyed massive success with seven number-one singles, six Grammy awards, five American Music Awards, six number one albums, two albums ranked among the 20 best-selling albums in the US, and over 150 million records sold.
The Eagels Band is a stunningly accurate tribute to the famous 1970s group from Southern California and take on all of the Eagles greatest hits such as Take It Easy, Desperado, Hotel California and New Kid In Town as well as deep album tracks like Wasted Time and even Don Henley and Joe Walsh solo material like Heart of the Matter and Rocky Mountain Way.
Presenting a performance that is a raucous, rock and roll show one minute and an intimate acoustic show the next, The Eagels Band performance is a hit with music lovers of all ages.
With six talented musicians, each bringing their own style and flair to the group, The Eagels Band is intent on delivering a near replica of a live Eagles performance that is astonishingly close to the originals themselves.
Greg Berriman on guitar and vocals performs the soul songs of Eagles’ key songwriter Don Henley and many of the guitar licks of Felder and Walsh. Glen Moffatt is the Glenn Frey of the group, playing guitar and also lead and backing vocals. Tamihana Johnston on guitar and vocals contributes his musical versatility and brilliant harmony vocals. Jim Cowling on drums and vocals has been playing professionally since he was 16-years-old and lays down the back beats for the band. While Doug De Jong on bass and Lance Larsen on keyboard and guitar round out the mix.
You can catch The Eagels Band at Tewantin Noosa RSL Friday night, from 8pm in the Diggers Bar. Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members and can be purchased from reception or dial’n’charge on 5447 1766.
