TEMPERATURES are expected to soar past 30 degrees today, but news just in confirms there is a 100 per cent chance of snow in Cooroy tonight.
From 7pm tonight, Cooroy will become a winter wonderland for the whole family as the stunning Ri-con Christmas tree lights are turned on.
Event-goers can also enjoy light snow flurries, sing along to carols with the Cherry Ripes and see the memorial stars light up.
The tree and the decorations throughout Cooroy are entirely funded and put up by the community through the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Cooroy.
It’s a festive wonderland that demonstrates the true spirit of the season.
The lighting of the tree will be followed by the screening of family favourite Elf on the Cooroy Library rooftop, Maple Street, Cooroy.
