A select group of local business owners will have the chance to meet with the Federal Minister for Small Business Michael McCormack and Federal Wide Bay MP Llew O’Brien for a round table discussion this week.
Mr McCormack will be in Noosa on Tuesday 7 March to attend a sit-down in the Noosa Boardroom’s new function room at Noosa Civic, from 2pm to 4pm. Local small business owners are invited to attend and use the opportunity to raise issues about tax, regulation and competition directly with the Australian Government.
The small discussion group will include representatives from the local business community, Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Kate Carnell and representatives from the ATO and ACCC. There is no word yet on what was to be discussed at the meeting.
This is the last chance for local small business owners to register for the event. To register, call 5319 3100 or email Noosa@parliament.qld.gov.au by 9am Tuesday 7 March.
