Medals for Noosa Masters

NOOSA Masters Swimming Club returned home winners after competing at the Australian Masters long course swimming championships held at the Melbourne Aquatic Centre last month.
The four-day competition, held from 21 to 24 April saw 725 competitors representing 125 master clubs from across Australia.
Noosa Master Swimming Club saw many personal best times with an overall place of 11th for the female swimmers with 268 points and 26th for the male swimmers with 128 points.
Four relay teams were successful, bringing home two silvers and two bronze.
Viv Merrill, Robyn Selby, Lois Hill and Jan Croft took out the silver medal in the women’s 50m freestyle relay. Lois Hill, Viv Merrill, Jan Croft and Robyn Selby also took out silver in the women’s 50m medley relay.
Bob Morse, Lois Hill, Rob Jolly and Jan Croft brought home the bronze in the mixed 50m freestyle relay while Bob Morse, Rob Jolly, Jan Croft and Lois Hill took out the bronze in the mixed 50m medley relay.
