Holidays in your PJs

By JOLENE OGLE

SCHOOL holidays are all about relaxing, and the students and teachers of Noosaville State School have a head start with their annual Wear-Your-PJs day.
Almost all students and teachers donned their night-time sleep wear last Friday to celebrate the end of the semester, with animal-themed onesies proving the most popular sleeping attire.
Clad in flannelette pyjamas and a pink dressing gown, Principal Mary McMahon said it was fun to start the holidays as she planned to continue them, relaxing in her PJs.
If you’re wondering what to do to keep the kids entertained these school holidays, the Eumundi Markets have a range of activities on offer including magic shows, cool science and play with clay workshops. See our Live section for more information on the times and dates.
Noosa Council also has a range of activities for kids of all ages including children’s yoga at the Noosa Leisure Centre, free learn to swim classes at the Noosa Aquatic Centre, the super-fun Jumpin’ at The J, and a stack of art workshops at the Butter Factory Arts Centre.
For more information on what you can get up to these school holidays, visit www.noosa.gov.au.
