Market is the place to be

There is plenty of school holiday fun at Eumundi Markets this week with cartooning, magic and science fun for kids of all ages. There will also be face-painting, pony rides, a jumping castle, Segway rides, child minding and so much more.

Cartooning for Kids
Cartoonist and children’s author ‘Cartoon Dave’ Hackett will be hosting free hands-on cartooning workshops on 5 and 12 July, at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm. Cartoon Dave’s workshops will cover topics including crazy cartoon animals, gross cartooning and cartooning with just five shapes, and you don’t need any drawing experience to take part.

Magic Shows
Come along to see a high-energy magic show performed by the incredible Nickleby, accompanied by his rabbit Fluffy Bum. You can catch the magic on 5 and 12 July, at 10am, 11am and 12noon.

Science for Fun
Curious kids can take part in interactive science challenges hosted by the team at Blue Sky Science on 9 July, from 8am. How is your balance? Do you have good aim? Are you calm under pressure? Kids can test their skills with tricky science challenges.

Play with Clay
Join ceramic artist Merrie Tomkins for Play with Clay workshops on 9 July, from 8am. Don’t miss your chance to make a handmade treasure to remember your special day at Eumundi Markets.
