THE Thursday Girls are celebrating as record numbers attend their monthly luncheon.
Founding member Dorothy Maloney said the latest luncheon held at the Waterfront Restaurant, Gympie Terrace, saw over 94 women attend the fund-raising event.
“This is a record number, we had such a great response after our last event,” Ms Maloney said.
The Thursday Girls formed over four years ago and have since raised money for the Katie Rose Cottage and have supported students from over nine local schools through the Education Support Program.
If you would like to attend a fund-raising luncheon, email brian.dianne2@bigpond.com or phone 5474 1184.
