Sausage sizzle for soccer break

By JULES ROSENKRANZ

THIS week while the Noosa Eagles Soccer Club players took a break from their soccer games, the parents stepped up to run a fund-raising barbecue at Bunnings Noosa.
The day started out fresh and soon warmed up as the first sausages hit the hot plate.
The sound of the sizzle “tssss” and the aroma of the onions attracted loads of people as a wonderful bunch of volunteers sacrificed their time to raise some much- needed money for the Noosa Eagles Soccer Club.
All in all, the day was a great success raising over $850 with a massive thank you to our local community if you were one of the wonderful people who indulged in a sausage or drink, also thank you to our volunteers and, of course, to Bunnings Noosa who allowed us to be there.
It was a truly successful day and lots of fun for all involved. Great work to the Noosa Eagles Soccer Club parents who helped on the day.
