THIS week’s Furry Friend is Booty from Marcoola. Booty is 13-years-old and was adopted from a rescue shelter almost one year ago. Booty’s owner Shannon Jones said Booty, who’s deaf and partially blind, loves to eat roast chicken and sunbake on warm days.
“We rescued him because we didn’t think it was fair for such an old dog to be in a shelter, especially given that he has such poor hearing and sight,” Shannon said.
“We love that we can give him a warm, comfortable home to see out his twilight years and he really brings us so much joy. He’s such a quirky little guy.“
