Tearin’ up the tar

The Historic Hill Climb takes to the tar this weekend with two days of heart-stopping, adrenaline-pumping action.
Catch the classic cars in action as they climb Gyndier Drive, Tewantin, or check out the pits and get up close and personal with the machines.
The Noosa Beach Classic Car Club (NBCCC), along with the help of Noosa Council, have prepared the track so everything is ready and rearing for the coming weekend.
Run by the NBCCC, all proceeds from the event will go to local charities.
The Hill Climb will run over 8 and 9 November, from 8am to 4pm. Tickets are available at the gate on the day at $15 for a single day pass or $20 for a weekend pass. Children under 14 are free.
Parking is available at the Tewantin sports grounds over both days, with a shuttle bus available to ferry event-goers to the entrance.
A shuttle bus will also be available from the pits to take spectators to turn eight, where there will be grandstands, food and drink, plus amenities.
