Emotions run high

At the Noosa Golf Club’s annual presentation evening there were plenty of reasons to raise a glass.
In an emotional tribute to his father who had recently passed away, club champion Toby Harding bought a tear to the eyes of all there as he received his award.
Toby has set himself a goal to qualify as a golfing professional and will attend Q School in early December.
Unfortunately Women’s Champion Judy Buss was unable to attend the function.
The Men’s and Women’s Player of the Year was awarded to Paul Sanderson and Allison Burke.
This is awarded to members who have played in a minimum of 20 single competitions throughout the season, with points awarded for each competition.
The Stephen Bowditch Award for the overall Player of the Year was awarded to Allison Burke.
Club President, Arlene Penlington, closed by congratulating all the winners and wishing all members success and good golfing for 2018.
