THE Lions Club of Peregian held their changeover dinner at the Pool Cafe on Thursday 30 June.
Dignitaries and members were present to witness the changeover of the outgoing and the incoming president, as well as the swearing in of new directors.
Outgoing president Peter Wright handed the reins to incoming president Craig Prentice at the event.
Jackie Stewart was awarded the Follow that Dream award for outstanding service within the club since its inception five years ago.
This year marks the Lions International centenary year, with 46,000 clubs boasting over 1.4 million members in 210 countries around the globe.
