POLICE are appealing for public assistance after the body of a Korean national was found in the Noosa River on Boxing Day.
Police are seeking any information relating to circumstances surrounding the death, which is believed to have happened on Christmas Day.
The incident occurred in the canal at the Noosa Lions Park on the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads between 11am and 3pm.
Police divers located the man’s body on 26 December in the area where the man had been last seen.
