NOOSA is set to jump around when the intoxicating and exuberating jazzman Peter Uppman visits town.
Traditional jazz, Dixie or mainstream, expect the lot when Peter Uppman trumpeter and vocalist returns to The J, Noosa Junction, on Saturday 18 June.
One of the stars at the Noosa Jazz Party last June, Peter will front Melbourne band The Uppbeats, a line-up of seven top Australian musos including Mike Hawthorne on trombone and Dave Burrows on guitar.
Peter’s multi award-winning style is instantly recognisable for his work as an international performer, songwriter and recording artist.
Born in Australia, Peter began learning trumpet at the age of 13. A professional performer of more than 25 years, he possesses an ability to communicate with his audiences, utilising humour combined with superb musicianship, as tools to ensure each gig is a success.
Having worked with dozens of internationally renowned artists, Peter has also been featured on national television, press and radio with several of his albums selling via major outlets worldwide.
