Noosa Eagles

U7 Gold have definitely learnt the true meaning of team! As a couple of players walked on field feeling a little unwell, they were determined to be there for everyone! Each player gave it their all playing their best defence yet! Well done to Imogen who followed that ball and defended it away from tahere opponents goals, stopping a few. Every player put their passing skills to practice by calling for each other and looking for their teams mates as they kept the ball in their goal area most of the game. Congratulations Emily on kicking your first goal and great job to Cruiz, Zach, Myles and Matthew for your goals as well! Player of the week went to Matthew who, despite felt unwell and was injured on field, continued to play and be unstoppable! The kids were all very proud of their 6-0 victory! Well done U7 Gold!

The Under 8 Gold team played an outstanding game against the Coolum Snappers this week and secured a strong 7-3 victory. Each of our boys put in 100% effort and worked solidly as a team to get the ball down the field and into the goals. Well done to our goal scorers Ryan C, Kyro and Xavier who each put one past the Coolum keeper, and to Man of the Match Ryan A who scored three goals for our team, and one for Coolum (oops – wrong way)! Special mention to Phoenix for fierce goal keeping and Max, who played with sheer determination and energy. Another exciting game with many cheers from the sideline. Well done, Noosa U8.
