KISS and make-up

KISS gave us one of the most prominent anthems of our teen years – I Was Made For Lovin’ You.
You might be a KISS-child of yesteryear with kids of your own now who are newly discovering the legends, or maybe you’re just a timeless KISS fan. Whoever you are and whatever your relationship with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss or Ace Frehley, it’s time to show a bit of love back to the band that gave us so many great anthems.
KISS was formed over 40 years ago and while they are predominately a hard rock band their music style has included elements of power pop, disco, pop rock, symphonic rock, progressive rock, glam metal and grunge over the years.
With 20 studio albums, 10 live albums, 13 compilation albums, 58 singles and 15 video albums, most people will recognise at least one KISS song! They have been named in many top lists such as VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock, The Greatest Metal Bands list by MTV, Hit Paraders’ Top 100 Live Bands and VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists Of All Time.
KISSperience is the hottest KISS tribute show in Australia. These fiery Queensland-bred musicians have got the tunes, the moves, and the inner demons to rock your socks off. Complete with giant flashing KISS logo, drum riser and stairs and combine fire-breathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars, smashing guitars, pyro and many other special effects into a larger than life, high energy show that continues to amaze crowds. If that isn’t enough for you, there’s also authentic costumes, instruments, face paints, and Gene’s signature tongue agilities.
If any of this soul-searing entertainment appeals to your rock-self then Tewantin Noosa RSL has got you covered. On Friday 9 November, at 8pm, KISSperience will be rocking for all those who love it loud.
Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
Tickets available at reception or on dial’n’charge on 5447 1766. Make sure you grab tickets early as this event will sell out.
