Tewantin in celebration mode

THE Tewantin CBD is being decorated with fairy lights and Christmas decorations to help spread festive cheer these holidays.
On Saturday 17 December from 10am-2pm, there will be even more Christmas cheer in Tewantin when the local traders hold the annual Christmas party.
Santa will be there, thanks to Patrick from Noosa Horses who has lent the big red man his horse and cart for the day.
It’s a great day out for the whole family with easy access to Christmas shopping; the Tewantin Fire Brigade will be on hand and there will also be live music.
There are a range of shops with great Christmas present ideas throughout Tewantin from clothes to sweet treats, pharmacies, hair dressers, florist and of course the Royal Mail Hotel.
Tewantin is serviced by all major and community banks, accountants, solicitors, real estate and property management, doctors and travel agent, plus there is a great range of eateries including coffee shops, bakeries and cafes.
Event organiser Barbara Sheriff said the day was possible thanks to all of the Tewantin businesses that have helped fund the new Solar Panel Christmas fairy lights.
