THE much-loved Noosa Chorale Wassail is back again to share the festive cheer through song.
Now in its ninth year, the chorale is promising a “starry extravaganza” with the The J to be transformed into a wonderland of stars and festive decor.
Revellers will relish the atmosphere as they sit at cabaret-style tables and dine on mince pies, cheese platters and Christmas cake and sing along to well-known Christmas carols.
Music director Adrian King has planned a program of carols and contemporary classical music, the highlight of which is Benjamin Britten’s celebrated cantata, A Ceremony of Carols.
“I am sure this this program of Wassail music will captivate, enthral and entertain, just as in past years,” Mr King said.
The Wassail will be performed at The J, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads, on Friday 16 December and Saturday 17 December, at 7pm.
Tickets are $35 per person and are available now through www.thej.com.au or phone 5329 6560.
