An adventure with a difference

By Hollie Harris

Many may not know that I love adventure and have a huge appreciation of beautiful bikes. While I am a scooter rider on weekends, it’s not practical for me, as a mum of two, to invest big dollars into a motorbike and get my money’s worth out of one, but now I’ve found a great option right here in Noosa.
Aussie Biker Tours and Rental offers an exciting solution to those who are looking for an adventure with an edge. If you are craving a biking experience but can’t committ to owning one, then Tim Brujes can set you up on a rental that will get your heart started or help you plan a trip to take your bike far beyond Noosa.
My cheeks are still sore from the grin plastered across my face when riding the Harley Davidson FLD Switchback. Not a seasoned rider, I wasn’t sure how a long-haul sit down would fare on my tuckus, but this big bike is built for comfort.
There is something exhilerating about seeing the sights I drive past every day from the open air of a bike with a 96-cubic-inches 1650cc motor. I was surprised that I could smell everything and I imagine riding through rainforest or country side would be truly something. The rumble of the Harley was more of a purr, and actually quiet enough to still hold a conversation, so probably a great couples’ adventure.
Aussie Biker Tours and Rental offers self-guided or guided tours from eight days to 21 days, where you can explore the bustling outback towns of Longreach, Winton and Hughenden plus the tropical North Queensland resort towns of Cairns, Townsville and Airlie Beach with a day-trip further north to the Cape on bike.
Adventure through the outback towns of Longreach and Winton as well as the tropical north Queensland resort towns of Cairns and Port Douglas and enjoy the fantastic roads – the list of tour itineraries is long and there is something for every biker.
Their rental prices include a GPS, panniers, top box and two helmets as required, plus insurance and unlimited kilometres on all multiple day hire periods and the selection of bikes is really impressive, as is the range of accessories.
Tim prides himself on keep the fleet new and works on the theory that if they provide late model motorcycles in perfect condition, you will ride them with pride.
Start or finish the ride in Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne Perth or even Darwin – yes they offer one-way motorcycle rentals.
So if you crave an adventure on two wheels or just want to see our beautiful Sunshine Coast region from a new perspective, there is nothing stopping you from trying out a few bikes from Aussie Biker Tours and Rental.
Give Tim a ring on 5474 1050 or 0474 000 988 to tee up your thrill – it really is a load of fun and not just for the blokes!
