Cakes for Christmas

EVERY November Noosa Today launches the Christmas Cheer Campaign aimed at brightening the holiday season for the local community, but this year we have started early.
Noosa Today has just received 200 Lions traditional Christmas cakes and we’re excited to not only hand them out to local business owners in the community but also help to support important local Lions projects.
The Lions Christmas Cake program has been a major fund-raiser for Lions projects in Australia since 1965 and has helped raise over $50 million.
Money raised from the sale of the cakes is donated back into the community, as well as used to help local projects throughout different regions in Australia.
The recent order of Christmas cakes was delivered by the Lions Club of Noosa Heads, who keep busy throughout the year with a host of local projects.
To order your Lions Christmas Cake from your local Lions Club phone Peter of Tewantin Lions on 5474 1297, Chic of Noosa Heads Lions on 5455 4106 or 0414 710 410 or Fran from Peregian Lions on 5471 2742.
