Tribute sure to satisfy

THE Rolling Stonez tribute show will roll into the Tewantin Noosa RSL tomorrow night for a show that will evoke nostalgia as patrons relive some of the best rock and roll songs of all time.
The show delivers the feel, style and quality of the group that has been described as the “greatest rock and roll band in the world”.
The tribute ensemble is made up of five musicians who love to faithfully recreate the sound and style of the Rolling Stones, preformed with an uncanny exuberance and the groove, licks and rhythm of the originals.
The band features Gary Philpott strutting his stuff as the lead vocalist, plus Scott Shelley, Lee Carroll, Mario Merlini and Jon Callander.
The show is packed full of hits from the Stones, such as Honky Tonk Woman, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Paint It Black, Angie, Satisfaction and more.
The Rolling Stonez will perform at the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Friday 9 January, from 8pm.
Tickets are $10 for members or $20 for non-members and are available from reception or dial’n’charge on 5447 1766.
