Noosa Touch has come away on top after a successful win at the recent Sunshine Coast and Fraser District Junior Regional Championships held at Caboolture.
Over 80 junior touch players travelled to the event competing in girls and boys divisions in Under 12, 14, 16 and 18.
In very hot conditions, the weeks of training and commitment paid off with all teams making it through to the semi-final stage. All girls’ teams made it to the grand final deciders along with the Under 12 and 14 boys.
The Under 10 girls’ were perhaps the most spectacular who, even though they were the smallest in stature, they were the mightiest of champions as they walked away with the title of Regional Champions.
