Pink buns for a cause

PINK finger buns are on the menu for Baker’s Delight’s free breast cancer awareness morning tea, tomorrow from 11am at Noosa Junction.
Baker’s Delight Noosa Junction is one of 600 bakeries who have joined the three week Pink Finger Bun campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer, in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
As part of his support for the fundraising drive, franchisee Stephen Tindal is holding a free morning tea tomorrow, where pink finger buns will be served by local BCNA members including local musician and breast cancer survivor, Tracey Combes.
Throughout the campaign, 100 per cent of the sale of the brightly iced buns will be donated to BCNA who work to raise awareness of the disease as well as provide information resources and My Journey Kits, a free resource for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.
This year’s campaign marks the 14th anniversary of the BCNA and Baker’s Delight partnership, which to date has raised more than $7.7 million to support Australians diagnosed with breast cancer.
Whether it’s for yourself or a loved one, you can help BCNA reach their $1.5 million target by buying a pink finger bun from your local Baker’s Delight.
