Green touch throughout

IT’S clear to see no expense has been spared in the creation of Acres from the unique imported LED lighting systems used throughout the complex and the water features to the scale and proportion of the buildings.
But Ralph Rogers has made sure each opulent element of the Acres complex is environmentally friendly.
An important part of the build was the design and installation of a bank of 10 water tanks housing 100,000 litres of water that were installed, so all rooftops are used for water harvesting, fed through a maze of underground pipes so the majority of water used on-site has been captured from the expansive rooftops. Special low-power lighting has been used throughout the whole centre including Autumn Leaves Garden Centre where the outdoor lighting system is truly innovative in that all the power used is the same as just one 100w traditional bulb.
