THE Sunshine Beach Surf Club Nippers program has received a massive boost thanks to the 800 supporters of the annual Ten Grand in the Hand fund-raiser.
Held at the club last Sunday 29 November, along with live music, complimentary food and plenty of company, 20 people walked away winners with $100 mini-jackpot prizes, but only one lucky raffle ticket holder could take home the grand prize of $10,000.
The winner was club member, club contributor and “all-round super bloke” Gerard Crow, who is now $10,000 richer just in time for the festive season.
Surfshots photographer and club sponsorship manager Dave Gleeson was on hand at the event to snap the action.
