Teams buy in to shopping agenda

WITH Christmas just around the corner the time to start shopping for gifts for friends and family is upon us.
But, have you ever wondered who is better at the task of shopping, men or women?
This is the question the Noosa Toastmasters posed to the Cooroy club on Monday evening 30 November when the two teams debated who was the fairest sex when it came to shopping.
Both teams made arguments in favour of their designated sex with the Cooroy team claiming women were more thoughtful shoppers and the Noosa team claiming men were more efficient at the task.
The night was full of laughs as each team argued convincingly however in the end the Cooroy team took the win after claiming that effective and efficient shopping does not equal better shopping.
