A place called Home

FOR some relaxing school holiday entertainment for the whole family, why not head to Noosa BCC Cinemas and laugh along to the movie ‘Home’.
Based on Adam Rex’s 2007 children’s book The True Meaning of Smekday, Home is a Dreamworks animation which takes the viewer out of this world.
When Earth is taken over by the overly confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated while all Boov get busy reorganising the planet.
However, when one resourceful girl, Tip, manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh.
The two fugitives realise there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.
Rated PG, Home has a star-studded cast which includes names such as Jim Parsons, Rhianna, Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez.
