READY, set, go!
Students are busy building the ultimate billy cart to race in the Noosa Christian College 12th annual Billy Cart Grand Prix on Sunday 19 July.
The Billy Cart GP is part of the school’s fun fair and includes categories for pre-Preps to open-age entrants with registrations open to the whole community.
Everyone from local sporting teams to mums and dads are encouraged to get a team together, build or borrow a billy cart and meet at the start line of the 220-metre circuit.
In addition to the main attraction on the day there will be amusement rides, a giant garage sale, auction, market stall, live music and produce stalls, plus so much more.
The garage sale starts at 7.30am, while registrations for billy carts open at 8.30am – entry to the race only $5 per team – and racing starts from 9am.
Spectators are welcome to come along and cheer for their favourite team with free entry.
The fun fair will be held at Noosa Christian College, 20 Cooroy-Belli Creek Road, Cooroy.
