THE Pomona Swimming Pool is ready to reopen to the local community and with a water temperature of 27 degrees it’s bound to be a busy opening day on Saturday 27 August.
Pool lessee Olympic medallist Greg Rogers said the upgrade had been welcomed by the community and will give the region a much-needed aquatic choice.
Greg will coach and teach with Learn to Swim, Aquafit classes and laps for fitness as well as recreational swimming available at the pool.
The opening hours for the pool are yet to be announced but will be published on the pool’s Facebook page under Pomona Swimming Pool.
