Strange Brew’s secret ingredient

STRANGE Brew are just what their name suggests – cooked up over years, they love what they do and constantly evolve in response to the experiences they gain along the way to produce something you have never heard before.
The one poignant feature that shines brightest when looking at Strange Brew is the fun each of these artists has on stage.
Their joy is infectious which has led them to return repeatedly to venues and their skyrocketing success is just more evidence of their amazing talent.
Strange Brew’s sound is a mix of rock, blues and a special secret ingredient unique to them.
Some influences on Strange Brew are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Van Morrison, Billy Thorpe, Paul Kelly, Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones.
Band members Kellsy, Stew, Gino and Laurie, all share the opinion that their love of music is what gives them that undefined quality, that ability to have the audience up on their seats and cheering.
Whatever this special spice is, they have decided to share a generous portion with every audience they perform for.
If you want a taste of Strange Brew, they are performing at the Tewantin Noosa RSL Diggers Bar on Friday 13 January at 8pm.
