Special day for croquet

COOLUM CROQUET
COOLUM Croquet Club has celebrated their 25th birthday on World Croquet Day.
The club held an afternoon tea and friendly games of croquet on Saturday 7 May with more than 30 members, family and friends on hand to celebrate the milestone.
The event was attended by Member for Maroochydore Fiona Simpson and Sunshine Coast Council member Stephen Robinson as well as founding member Jill Page.
Coolum Croquet Club president Allan George said he was proud of the hard work carried out by volunteers to keep the club running.
“We are all volunteers and I think we have carried on the tradition begun by our founding members,” he said.
“With all of us helping we have survived and flourished for 25 years. Thank you to everyone in the Coolum Croquet Club family – be proud of our achievements.”
