Cooroy wins Division 3

Cooroy Golf Division 3 winners.

The Cooroy Golf Club Women’s Division 3 team had a great win on 30 April when they defeated Bribie Island at Maroochy River Golf Course, gaining 4.5 points out of a possible 6 in the North Coast Zone Ladies golf pennants. This allowed them to win the overall competition of 7 rounds by 0.5 from Maroochy River and Pacific Harbour. This is no mean feat for a small though active club like Cooroy. Captain, Wendy Morse, was overjoyed to receive the trophy.
