It’s a slower drive along Park Road to the Noosa National Park due to the half road closures resulting from the boardwalk construction but that didn’t deter people from taking it over the long weekend.Once there motorists soon find out the number of carparks has reduced as a result of the roadworks and they will probably need to make the trip back to Hasting Street.
For those who haven’t yet found it a concrete pathway is now available for walkers across the road from the boardwalk.
The boardwalk from Little Cove to the Noosa National Park entrance is being constructed by Hutchinson Constructions who have until the Christmas holidays to complete the project.
Also under construction is the boardwalk in front of the Noosa Surf Club and the clubhouse is undergoing renovations.
