Ladies share facets of business success

THE Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network lunch is in full swing with more than 60 local business women gathering at the Noosa Boathouse restaurant.
Special guest for the lunch is Secrets co-founder and managing director Jane Meredith who will share her secrets to success.
This year marks 15 years since the opening of Secrets’ flagship store on Hastings Street in Noosa Heads when Jane and co-founder Dietmar Gorlich first introduced revolutionary Diamond Simulants set in beautiful fine quality designs.
“It has been a great journey since the opening of the first Secrets store in Noosa 15 years ago,” Jane said.
Jane’s first taste of the high-end diamond industry was when she had lost everything.
“After selling my Donut King business and ending a 20-year relationship, a friend asked me to help out in his high-end jewellery store,” she said.
“While I was there he advised me that only nine per cent of women could afford the high-end diamonds we were selling. During this time I was introduced to Dietmar, who was also in the industry, and together we discovered the new technology diamond simulants that was emerging in the late ’90s.
“We were amazed at what we discovered; a stone that looked like a diamond sparkled like a diamond and had brilliance that would last a lifetime.”
From humble beginnings, Secrets is now located throughout Australia and online with stunning designs set in solid 10CT and 14CT white, yellow or rose gold featuring Secrets Signature Diamond Simulants, comparable to the colour and brilliance of a fine diamond.
