Cruise line comes to the party for cancer mum

THE community has jumped behind Tewantin mum of three Roz Harper since her struggle with brain cancer was made public early this year.
Local businesses have joined together across the region to hold multiple fund-raisers, raising much-needed funds for exhorbitant transport and medical costs.
The latest business to join the fund-raising effort is Noosa River and Canal Cruises, which is set to hold a fun cruise along the much-loved river.
Guests are invited to join Noosa River and Canal Cruise owners Kym and Gary Logan as they cruise the Noosa’s stunning waterways listening to tunes and enjoying cold beverages and delicious canapes kindly donated by the Tewantin-Noosa RSL.
Noosa River and Canal Cruises’ Danielle Mulherin said she hoped the cruise would raise over $2000 with proceeds from the day going directly to the Harper family.
The two-hour cruise will set sail on Sunday 26 June, from 2.45pm, and departs from The Jetty, 186 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville.
Tickets are $60 per person and can be booked by phoning Danielle on 0423 006 885.
